Nolvadex 20 (Genshi Labs)

Nolvadex is an oral formulation that contains 20 mg of the active ingredient Tamoxifen Citrate.

Nolvadex is not a steroid; instead, it acts as a selective estrogen blocker. Although it does not stop the accumulation of estrogen in the body, it inhibits its effects on specific receptors, particularly those found in the nipples. This is particularly advantageous for bodybuilders as it helps prevent "gyno," which can occur when using aromatizing steroids like testosterone.

Another significant advantage of Nolvadex for bodybuilders is its ability to significantly boost testosterone production by stimulating LH levels. This makes it an excellent option for post-cycle therapy (PCT).

While Nolvadex has clear benefits regarding estrogen accumulation in the body, it can negatively affect substances related to progesterone. Therefore, it is advised that bodybuilders refrain from using Nolvadex alongside steroids such as Deca or Trenbolone.

It is also crucial to understand that Nolvadex does not lower estrogen levels throughout the body. Athletes aiming to minimize overall water retention and bloating should consider true estrogen blockers like Anastrozole or Exemestane. Bodybuilders often take Nolvadex in daily doses ranging from 25 to 75 mg for the duration of their cycle when gyno is a concern. Those planning to use Nolvadex in their PCT regimen typically administer it at similar dosages for 4-6 weeks following the cessation of all steroid use. Additionally, users may opt to include Proviron and/or HCG in their PCT protocol.
